Welcome
Welcome to Best Free Blogs.
Here we offer you the opportunity to post your own blog on the internet, for free!
There are of course other free blogging platforms available, Wordpress and Blogger to name but two. These are excellent services but they, along with others are sometimes a little restrictive in their posting policies.
Did you know for instance that many will not allow you to post business or commercial content?
If you search through their terms and conditions [which you should always read before signing up] you will probably find other things that do not suit your style of blogging.
At Best free Blogs we try to be exactly that, the best! we do not restrict the content that you post except in the following fields:
- Anti-Racial or Hate blogs.
- Pornography, whether hard or soft.
- Illegal products. Which include things such as Recreational Drugs, Warez or anything
similar.
We believe that you know what is right or wrong. If in doubt, ask!
So, that’s it! No other restrictions.
You may post:
- Personal Blog
The personal blog, an ongoing diary or commentary by an individual, is the traditional, most common blog. Personal bloggers usually take pride in their blog posts, even if their blog is never read by anyone but them. Blogs often become more than a way to just communicate; they become a way to reflect on life or works of art. Blogging can have a sentimental quality. Few personal blogs rise to fame and the mainstream, but some personal blogs quickly garner an extensive following. - Business Blog
The blogging movement is picking up speed as businesses begin to realise the benefits of blogging. Discover what a business blog can do for you. - Internet Marketing Blog
Internet marketing, also referred to as online marketing, Internet advertising, or eMarketing, is the marketing of products or services over the Internet. When applied to the subset of website-based advertisement placements, Internet marketing is commonly referred to as Web advertising (also Webvertising) and Web marketing. The Internet has brought many unique
benefits to marketing, one of which being lower costs for the distribution of information and media to a global audience. - Instructional Blog
Instruction encompasses both the teaching and learning of knowledge, proper conduct, and technical competency. It thus focuses on the cultivation of skills, trades or professions, as well as mental, moral & aesthetic development. Instructional blogs impart knowledge. - Reviews Blog
A review blog is an evaluation of a publication, such as a movie, video game, musical composition, book, or a piece of hardware like a car, appliance, or computer. In addition to a critical statement, the review’s author may assign the work a rating to indicate its relative merit. More loosely, an author may review current events or items in the news. - Lists Blog
One of the easiest ways to write a post is to make a list. Posts with content like ‘The Top Ten ways to….’, ‘7 Reasons why….’ ‘ 5 Favourite ….’, ‘53 mistakes that bloggers make when….’ are not only easy to write but are usually very popular with readers and with getting links from other bloggers. - Interviews Blog
- Sometimes when you’ve run out of insightful things to say it might be a good idea to let someone else do the talking in an interview (or a guest post). This is a great way to not only give your readers a relevant expert’s opinion but to perhaps even learn something about the topic you’re writing yourself.
- Case Studies Blog
Rather than using eggs samples and following a rigid protocol to examine limited number of variables, case study methods involve an in-depth, longitudinal examination of a single instance or event: a case. They provide a systematic way of looking at events, collecting data, analysing information, and reporting the results. As a result the researcher may gain a sharpened understanding of why the instance happened as it did, and what might become important to look at more extensively in future research. - Profiles Blog
Profile posts are similar to case studies but focus in on a particular person. Pick an interesting personality in your niche and do a little research on them to present to your readers. Point out how they’ve reached the position they are in and write about the characteristics that they have that others in your niche might like to develop to be successful. - Links Blog
A link blog is a blog which focuses on web links. Unlike social bookmarking, it is typically located in a personal website or a regular blog site, and therefore lacks any specific technical features, such as tagging. - Problems Blog
Another term that is often searched for in Google in conjunction with product names is the word ‘problems’. This is similar to a review post but focuses more upon the negatives of a product or service. Don’t write these pieces just for the sake of them - but if you find a genuine problem with something problem posts can work for you. - Contrasts Blog
Contrast is the dissimilarity or difference between things. Another meaning for contrast is in the context of colour. This can be the opposition of items that are compared or the act of distinguishing via differences comparison. How about comparing events or products? - Rant Blog
Helen’s favourite! Get passionate, stir yourself up, say what’s on your mind and tell it like it is. Rants are great for starting discussion and causing a little controversy - they can also be quite fun if you do it in the right spirit. Just be aware that they can also be the beginnings of a flaming comment thread and often it’s in the heat of the moment when we say things that we later regret and that can impact our reputation the most. - Inspirational Blog
On the other side of rants lie inspirational blogs. Tell others about success over adversity and what might be. - Collation Blog
Find something that might excite your readers interest and research what others may have said about it. Add your own opinion and see what happens. - Prediction Blog
What do you or others think might happen in the future? Research “maybe’s, this should give you plenty of subject matter. - Critique Blog
Formal and casual criticisms of a work (a poem, a painting, or a play, for example) again, pick a subject and run with it. - Debate Blog
Back to school here! Debates can cover a multitude of subjects. - Hypothetical Blog
What If? The oil ran out? The Ice cap melts completely? My wife leaves me? [don't get me started!] - Satirical Blog
Although satire is usually meant to be funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humour in itself so much as an attack on something of which the author strongly disapproves, using the weapon of wit. [yeah] - Memes Blog
A meme consists of any thought or behaviour that can pass from one person to another by learning or imitation. Examples include thoughts, ideas, theories, gestures, practices, fashions, habits, songs, and dances.
Memes propagate themselves and can move through the cultural sociosphere in a manner similar to the contagious behaviour of a virus. - Hobbies Blog
Hobbies are practiced for interest and enjoyment, rather than financial reward. Examples include collecting, creative and artistic pursuits, making, tinkering, sports and adult education. Engaging in a hobby can lead to acquiring substantial skill, knowledge, and experience. However, personal fulfilment is the aim.
What are hobbies for some people are professions for others: a chef may enjoy cooking as a hobby, while a professional game tester might enjoy playing (and helping to debug) computer games. Generally speaking, the person who does something for fun, not remuneration, is called an amateur (or hobbyist), as distinct from a professional. - How To Blog
Not how to blog but a “How To” blog. Offering help and instructions on how to do almost anything is greatly appreciated. If you can offer advice in one or more fields this is the way to go! - Video Blog
Two choices here! Produce your own videos or research and collect other on-line videos on a particular subject. Bear in mind that on-line videos CAN disappear! - Photo Blog
Pick a subject, photograph it, write about it, post it. See what happens! - Wiki Blog
There are many wiki’s that will allow you to post their content on your blog. Again it is a question of researching your subject and gathering the best. - And so on, or any combination of the above.
Best free Blogs uses the very self same blogging platform that Wordpress.com uses, in fact it is supplied by Wordpress.org!
We use the very latest version available along with officially supported plug-ins and theme.
Best Free Blogs operates a continual improvement policy and is always willing to consider new enhancements that its members request.
Why should you use Best Free Blogs?
Well, partly because of the above!
You are an individual that just wishes to post content on a particular subject (i) with a view to allowing others to interact and contribute (ii).
(i) You can have separate blogs in your account for different subjects. (ii) You choose whether or not to allow others to register on your blogs.
You are a Business, Internet Marketer or Netrepreneur wishing to “test the water” and see if blogs will assist your marketing efforts.
In fact recent history shows that it will and you have a better choice than free blogs, more of this later!
You blog for fun, with or without others, maybe you’d like to form a local or national group to discuss a subject?
There are a 1001 other reasons.
The alternative?
Host your own Blog!
Hosting your own blog gives you total control over the content, the layout, installing plugins that suit you, YOUR advertising. In fact total control over everything that will make a difference to you.
You could add an e-commerce store if you have products to sell, or maybe a forum where members can discuss the subject and content of your blog and a host of other things.
A self hosted blog is after all just a website, a specialised website, a niche website, an SEO friendly website.
If you need to get your message across to a large audience then you could do a lot worse than producing a good, relative content, well optimised blog!
Conclusion!
Browse through the above and ask yourself some honest questions.
Do I need all the bells and whistles and the work [nothing comes free!] that a self hosted blog will give me or would I be content with a free hosted blog with no ties or obligations?
Only you can decide which road to follow, whichever, we are here to help!
